James McCormack began his career in the trucking industry as a class a driver recruiter for a southeastern truck driver training center. He worked with student driver applicants who were applying for financing by the school.
However, James knew early on that he wanted to form his own company.
“I knew there had to be a better way … I wanted to help student drivers become successful professional truckers and this wasn’t working“ says James.
In 2002, James founded Trucking Careers of America to work primarily with student drivers. His mission was straightforward. He wanted to help class a student drivers enjoy a successful professional truck driving career – and – NOT become just another drop off statistic.
James’ objective was to mentor students by providing:
